Mitch's surfboard design caught my attention and wanted something shaped by him. i loved his fish board design so i asked him to shape me one that suited me. only started surfing few times, after i got the board paddled hard, i was able to catch several waves in the oh so crowded waikiki. its such a fun board to ride. very friendly, and definately worth every bit of your surf. mahalo mitch~!

The twin Mitch made for me is a magic stick! The board advanced my surfing so much and restoked my want to get in the water. I totally appreciate the time he put into the design process with his questions of where my surfing is and what I want to get out of this piece of equipment. I am ever grateful, and will only buy my boards from him. My girlfriend has a Sasquatch egg and it rides unreal.

i was just checking mitch's blog site and remembered the board he made that introduced me to the merits of dropping in, grabbing poi to slow down, then getting covered up. i had been riding a single-fin for months and then mitch made a parmenter-inspired bwp 2+1. those added side bites took most of the sideslip on late drops away. i got my first barrel on this board.

the first time i rode his filet-o-fish was a session at tft's. the board was stable on late drops but super fast. a guy dropped in on me and i had to step heavy on the tail to slow down and apply the brakes. if i didn't mind dinging mitch's board, i could easily have sailed right past this guy.

the only board faster that i've ridden besides the double-concave filet is the quad. i rode the fireball quad last summer at lincolns in town and that winter-like kamehameha day swell at alligators. the board held during heavy bottom turns, giving me all the speed and control i wanted on the face.

mitch's foam creations make surfing fun. i plan on ordering a filet or snub fish and a quad when i move back to hawaii.
